HEINE® BETA 200S XHL Ophthalmoscope

The unique dust-sealed design protects precision optics and allows for maintenance-free operation. The BETA 200 / 200S ophthalmoscopes are the only devices with aluminum support. The optical components are integrated into a cast aluminum frame which prevents off-centering and makes the instrument resistant to shocks. XHL xenon halogen bulb with bright illumination and authentic color rendering.

• The BETA 200S ophthalmoscope has a Rekoss disc equipped with a set of 28 lenses  which prevents significant refractive errors. The 74 steps of a diopter on the notched lens dial prevent extreme jumps (-36D to +38D).
• Single and continuous brightness regulation  between 100% and 3%, with just one finger.
• No stray light thanks to the recessed multi-layer observation window  – for reliable diagnosis.
• Precise handling of the instrument with one hand.  The ergonomic design provides flexibility during the exam.
• Can be used for dilated and non-dilated pupils.
• The ergonomic shape  adapts comfortably to the orbit and isolates the eye from ambient light.
